Standard on all Leary Array™ controllers - SecureSCAN™ has been developed by Leary to provide fail-safe product monitoring, tracking and quality assurance. SecureSCAN™ delivers high-speed automatic product security combined with powerful productivity tools designed to help maximise efficiency and minimise production line stoppages.

SecureSCAN™ works by ensuring every single product is accounted for as it enters, travels through and leaves the production line. At any point in time the SecureSCAN™ system knows exactly where every product is, it knows the product dimensions, its current speed, which quality sensors have scanned it and how many others are due to scan it before it leaves the line, making sure that every product receives 100% inspection.

SecureSCAN™ is also responsible for the safe removal of non-conforming products; should a quality sensor identify a product as non-conforming, the SecureSCAN™ system tracks the product to the Leary automatic product ejector and removes it without interrupting production, using another fail-safe sensor to ensure the ejection actually took place.
